• Introduction

BSF ROPE and BRAID are not used as a load bearing rope but used exclusively as a sealing or packing material. BSF ROPEs are non-rigid products of loosely twisted yarn. BSF ROPEs, as sealing material, are substitute for asbestos. BSF ROPEs are used to use in containers and piping for transportation of molten metals because of their non-wetting nature by molten metals including aluminum.

BSF BRAIDs are products over braided with glass fiber yarn or stainless wire, having BSF ROPE or ISOWOOL BSSR BLANKET as core material have similar applications.
