Repair/recovery - Roller/roller shaft

INTRODUCE

Dear customers, we are pleased to announce you that Vung Tau MJS Company & MKP Joint Stock Company has formed a joint-venture to provide the repair/recovery service for steel rollers/roller shafts in your companies and factories such as conveyor roollers, cool roller shafts, hot roller shafts which have been used and be broken down or be corroded.

The repair/restoration of steel rollers/roller shafts are made using standard proceduces, materials and equiments are imported from prestigious suppliers with sufficient certificate of origin and quality.

After being repaired/restored, the products will be gave back to the factory with the certificate of quality and warranty as new products. The price for repair/recovery will be lower than the cost of new product, it helps your company/factory saving a lot of money buying new equiment each year.

 

PROCESS

  1. Receive the repair/recovery requests from customers. The request must be provided with full and accurate information including the drawings of each roller/shaft, photo, a note which fully shows the status, position, function and working condition of the roller/shaft.
  2. Set up a repair/recovery process for each type of roller/shaft and offer a technical proposal.
  3. Sign a commercial contract.
  4. Proceed the repair/recovery process. The standard procedures will be apply case by case, based on the situation, function and working condition. For example, the repair process of rolling shaft (OD 210mm x 1474mm, rotating 1450 v/p, operation temperature about 750oC):

Repair procedures:

  • Clean the shaft from oil & rusty for investigation and measurement
  • If the roll is shorter than 820mm, then need to prolong the length by adding a suitable ring made from C45 steel.
  • Visual check to detect if any cracks on the shaft, grinding of cracks and manual weld repair.
  • Turning the OD of roll in space required if weld overlays, lenght 85/45/85/45mm.
  • Weld overlays (PTA) using P ST 12 powder or better materials at the space required, length 85/45/85/45mm, 3mm thickness.
  • Prepare surface and arc spray using ADS160 wire at position B-C (70mm and 90mm).
  • Grinding (on lathe) the OD shaft at position B-C to 70j7-90j7, turning the OD of roll at weld overlays and bare OD to equal throughout on roll.
  • Dynamic balancing as ISO 1940.

  1. The materials (Stellite 12, AS160,...) and equipments/tools (York/Canada, Durametal/USA, Arcraft/India, Technocoat/Japan,...) all have the international certificates of qualiti.
  2. Give the roller/shaft back to the company/factory with the certificate of quality and warranty as new products.
