FGS3 is asbestos free graphite laminated and reinforced with a tanged stainless steel core gasket.
SERVICE
FGS3 is recommended for applications involving high sealing stresses and where high blow out resistance is needed. The inclusion of the steel reinforcing layers gives rise to a robust sheet. FGS3 can be used to seal a wide range of extreme temperature and pressure. Typical industries where FGS3 is used include power generation and petrochemical.
Maximum recommended temperature: 700°C (1292°F)
Minimum & maximum working temperature: -200°C ~ +550°C
Maximum recommended pressure: 20Mpa (200bar)
